Movie Trailer Reviews

I like watching movie trailers and then reviewing the movie based on the information gleaned from them. I work at the Telluride Film Festival, and I get to see quite a few movies well before their domestic release dates, so I have a little insight into those movies as well. Because the TFF program isn't released until the day of the festival, I like to try and guess what might show up here.

Hollywoodland

I'm not a fan of Ben Affleck by any stretch of the imagination. He's sorta funny looking and he doesn't have any personality or affect. He's like a robot, except less of a curiosity. That said, I'm really surprised by this trailer, cause it looks really good. I'd go see this. The lighting and set design looks great. It's got a real noir feel to it.

I'd expect to give this movie a 7/10.
